Hope 08 is an initiative to help the church in the UK to get better at witnessing to our villages, towns and cities. It has sprung up following events such as Festival: Manchester and Soul in the City. Although this has been lead by youth movements such as Soul Survivor, Youth for Christ and The Message Trust, Hope 08 is for the whole church.

The idea is that the whole church works for the whole nation for the whole year under the banner of "do more, do it together, do it in word and action".
